HAZEL MARIE (JOHNSON) EARVIN Hazel Marie (Johnson) Earvin, age 92, of Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 29th, 2010. She was born May 7, 1917 and was raised in Missouri. Hazel was married to Earl Starlin and had one son, LeRoy Elmer Starlin. She was later married to James Earvin and they lived in Safford, Arizona, until moving to Atlantic. Hazel had three granddaughters, Ruby E. Cowen of Storm Lake, IA, Julia Lee Purcell of Omaha, NE and Lynda Ihrke of Atlantic and their families.Funeral Information There will be an open visitation at the Roland Funeral Home daily from 8:00 to 5:30 with no family visitation. A graveside service will be held for Hazel on Friday, September 3, at 1:30 P.M. in the Atlantic Cemetery with Reverend Guy Fisher of the First Assembly of God Church of Atlantic officiating.
