Condolence: Dear Roland Family:You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve Uncle John's death and celebrate his impact on your lives. It sounds like the service was beautiful... he would have been so very proud of all the family gathered round honouring him. May you be given many reminders of happy memories and also much comfort. Condolence From: Sherry Darling Vale (Santa Rosa)
Condolence: Gosh, where do I start......Johnny B and I were childhood friends. He and I both collected stamps and had quite large collections. One afternoon I was invited to his house to exchange stamps and to have lunch. Really a nice time.I belonged to Rainbow and invited Johnny B to go to one of the dances with me as I had no special boyfriend. He graciously consented to go. When he came to pick me up he had a corsage for me. Turned out he couldn't "pin" it on me, as was the custom, because it was a corsage that had a circle that went around the breast, as my formal was strapless. We got quite a laugh out of that later on in years.Johnny B was a good buddy and a kind soul. Even though he was quite handsome, he had a humble heart. I was priviledged to have known him and to have been his friend.~ Sherry Darling Vale,Santa Rosa, California -Copied from "Guest Book" through Atlantic News Telegraph

Condolence From: Peg and Ray Miller (Council Bluffs)
Condolence: Warren, Amy Jo and family:You are in our thoughts and prayers. I am so glad that Ron Pigg and I got to visit with Johnny B. in December. We had a really nice visit. Johnny B. and I had a lot of fun times together growing up. I remember smoking my first cigarette with him in the hayloft of the barn. I couldn't get mine to light and he told me you have to suck in not blow out. : ) You have our deepest sympathy. Peg and Ray Miller -Copied from "Guest Book" through the Atlantic News Telegraph

Condolence: So sorry to hear of John's passing. I enjoyed him in school all those years ago, and also as a neighbor at the apartments on tenth street. I'm so glad he finally seemed to be able to enjoy life in his later years.
