I'm so sad to know of Bobby's passing. My heart goes out to the love of his life, Ellie, who has been by his side for so long. I hope that my dear deceased love Alan Rutherford, Bobby's cousin, was there to greet Bobby at the gates of Heaven. Maybe they're both up there riding some bucking horse or bull again!
What a time we had horsing around with horses. Will miss yah little buddy.you will live on thru Tammy in the show ring at Fair.Eli you all have our sympathy,God Bless.
May the warmth of God's love embrace you, may the compassion of those who care surround you, and may the joy you once shared brighten your days with the assurance with God, love lives forever. We love you all.
Bobby was always very close to my heart. In my younger years, he, along with Ellie, Tammie, Paul and Brighty (Brian), were my extended family. From mucking out stalls in the horse barn to milking goats with the children, we were often a daily thing. Laughter was a huge part of that relationship. :)
Bobby was full of an 'older wisdom' which he often imparted to me over a black cup of coffee. That man loved his coffee!! Some of my fondest memories are talking with him at their kitchen table. I believe we solved many of my teenage problems at that table. Looking back, the poor guy was probably bored to tears! But yet... I may have helped pave the road to Tammie's teen years. One can only hope hers were not as 'interesting' as mine. And yes, Bobby I finally learned to love Coffee.
But I have regrets and am truly sorry that I went my own way for years n left the Rutherford's behind. Until 6 years ago that is. We reconnected and oh! the memories that came back... bringing with them the stories and the laughs... and the Wish that I hadn't let them go for so long.
Ellie, thank you! Tammie you're a Doll!!(Old time word for a Precious Precious person). You've become such a Beautiful Person, inside n out! You were my little Sweetie, my sidekick at the back end of all those goats!! The boys? Well, they were Boys..... Couldn't take your eyes off them or they had their 'nose' in something we wouldn't approve of.. :)
But Bobby?
He was my Cowboy. A Friend who taught me so much. He was there for me and my brother Ercell after our Dad died in a tragic accident. He helped us put our luves back together with Purpose. He helped us Heal.
Bobby... I will Always Love You. You are a part of who I've become.
Gone but not Lost. I'll see you in Heaven, my Friend. And we'll Laugh some more. Together and with Jesus in that Place of Eternal Peace. I look forward to the day.... §'> xoxoxo
