Obituary for Bob Cole Jr.
Bob Cole, Jr., 52, of Atlantic, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at his home.
Robert Charles Cole, Jr. was born on February 1, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Robert and Terrie (Fenner) Cole, Sr. He lived in Colorado for a short time before his family moved to Florida. Bob lived in Florida until he was 19, and then spent time in Colorado and Florida over the years. While in Florida he worked as a mechanic at a boat shop.
In early summer of 2010, he moved to Atlantic and shortly after on August 24th he met his true love, Eva. The couple were so happy together and planned to be married on 12-13-14. They enjoyed the simple things, which included going for a walk or just sitting on the couch talking and watching television.
Bob loved spending time with family and wouldn't dare miss a birthday or holiday get together. They will remember him for being funny, and very stubborn at times. He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed watching any sport, but took a huge liking to the Miami Dolphins. During Miami Dolphins games if things weren't going the way they should it wasn't uncommon for Bob to be worked up yelling at the TV. When he wasn't watching sports, he enjoyed playing them on his PS3.
Bob is survived by his fiancé, Eva Coatney; children, Jeremy (Leslie Olwell) Cole of Atlantic, Summer Cole of Atlantic, Amber (Kyle) Schleicher of Largo, Florida, and Aaron Cole of Atlantic; grandchildren, Rene Cole, Damian Schleicher, Ariana Cooley, Lucas Benshoof, Jazylynn Cole, Jeremy Cole, Jr., and Trinden Cole; brother, Mark Ranck; nieces, Becca and Faith Ranck; and nephew, Shane Ranck.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Becky in 2007.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.
Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 10 a.m.
