It's 2 AM and I can't sleep. Am thinking of memories of Midge. As I was growing up, there were many fun times together with Midge and Einer. Usually there were family gatherings for birthday parties and holidays and playing cards. As a child, I was only vaguely aware of Midge's mischievous streak. I didn't even know her real name was Verlene until I was a teenager. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
Verlene was in our home so many years and was a part of our family life. We will never forget her nor her kind service and the perseverance to keep up with us six kids.
I was the baby of the family and Verlene probably did her share of spoiling me. Anyway, I sure loved having her come for her visits. Love to the Andersen family.
Lovin' her until we meet again. Sure will miss the thoughtful gifts. Pressed chicken, cakes and endless delish' stuff. Miss her at our Christmas parties. She was so thoughtful to always bring a beautiful poinsettia. So nice to hear that she was peaceful upon her passing. Sympathy to the family
Dave and family, I worked with Verlene at Jack and Jill Preschool......all I can say is, what a gem of a lady. We had a connection as I knew your sister (my dad had made her some dollbeds)when we were little going to school. My thoughts are with you and your family.
