JEANNETTE M. SMITH

Jeannette Marie (Templeman) Smith, 76, a life-long resident of the Atlantic area, died Tuesday, January 28, at the Heritage House in Atlantic.
The daughter of Dale Paul & Margaret Eileen Desmond Templeman, she was born May 28, 1937, in Atlantic, Iowa. She grew up in Atlantic and graduated from the Atlantic High School. She was united in marriage to Richard G. Smith, October 8, 1955, in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic. Jeannette was retired from her work as a Med Aid at Heritage House Nursing home in Atlantic. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic and enjoyed participating in Bible Study. She was also a member of the Maple Dale Neighborhood Club.
Jeannette is survived by her husband Richard, children, Glen (Fauzan) Smith of Atlantic, Diane Nosbisch and fiancé Tim Bennett of Menlo, IA, Linda (Alan) Robinson of Atlantic and Nancy (Bill) Reece of Mandeville, LA, her sisters Geneva Frohlich and Judy Templeman and brother Ray (Linda) Templeman, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Margaret, her brother Jack Templeman and her sister Joan Soderholm.
