Obituary for Renee Peron Stolberg
Renee Irene Peron Stolberg, formerly of Wiota, died on January 16, 2021, of ALS at her home in Marietta, Georgia at the age of 59.
Renee was born on June 22, 1961, the youngest of four children born to Max and Ursula (Jones) Peron. She attended Anita High School and graduated at the top of her class in 1979. Renee received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Rockford College in 1983. She is survived by her older siblings, Sheryl McMullen, Ruth Suplee, and Elan Peron.
In 1987, she married John Stolberg from Illinois and they have lived in Springfield IL, Bolingbrook IL, Lakewood CO and most recently Georgia. Renee and John were blessed with two daughters, Rachel and Rebecca which Renee homeschooled all the way through high school. Renee's love for the arts is carried on by Rachel who is an assistant director of animation in Vancouver, BC and Rebecca who teaches piano in Alpharetta, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, February 5th at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lewis, Iowa.
