Imo Genevia  Odle
Imo Genevia Odle, 96, of Atlantic, passed away Monday, March 19, 2001, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center.The daughter of Stephen and May Vosler Reese, Imo was born June 1, 1904, in Carson where she grew up and graduated from Oakland High School. She was united in marriage to George William Odle on March 28, 1928, at her parents home in Oakland. She was an Atlantic area resident for the majority of her life. Imo was a member of the Christian Church at Oakland and the First Church of Christ in Atlantic.Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie Schneider of Atlantic and Suzette Green of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Wionia Orth of West Union, Iowa; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and May Reese; her husband, George W. Odle; one son, James W. Odle; one daughter in infancy, and Lavern Odle; three sisters, Bessie, McKinzey, Florence Mattess and Jessie Shanno; and one brother, Harold Reese.Funeral InformationServices for Imo were held Thursday, March 22, 2001, at 10:30 AM at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa with Pastor Terry Schoenfeld of the Evangelical Free Church officiating.Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery east of Oakland, Iowa.
