I am a first cousin to Duane and I just wanted to express my sympathy to all for Ann's passing. My parents so enjoyed Ann and the joy that she brought to their nephew, Duane after they were together.
She attended both of my parents funerals with Duane and she loved our Dad's estate sale as he was an antique collector too. She always had a warm smile for everyone! I know that she will be deeply missed and I am sorry to hear that cancer took her too young. I know that Duane's mom/my Aunt Florence loved her too and she will welcome her with open arms to heaven.
With sympathy, Sarah Summers (Curry) - Marietta, GA
Ann was such an important part of my life for the past 12 years. She was such a giving and caring person to everyone she met, including strangers. I want to thank everyone for the love and support that was given to Ann and myself as she fought her courageous battle with cancer. I will always love and miss her.
You were such a great teacher and such a great women! You will be missed! Thanks for everything you did. And thanks for being such a great teacher my 2nd grade year.
She was the most patient teacher I ever had and one of the nicest individuals. I loved our summer tutor sessions because she always made us a snack to enjoy and I can still hear her fancy nails tapping on the marker board when explaining a math problem. My thoughts are prayers are with her family, friends, and Duane.
Sorry to hear of Ann's passing. May the memories of Ann that you hold in your heart be treasured for a lifetime and let God's grace help you find comfort.
