Condolence From: Cheryl Wirt Murphy
Condolence: Carol and family, how lucky our world has been to have had Gene in it! His positive attitude...his teasing (especially you, Carol!)...his patience in teaching us "Playtime Rebels" how to not only skate, but how to be better citizens in giving to others. Gene contributed much to the youth of Atlantic, Iowa, and for that he will be fondly remembered.

Condolence: Carole and girls:
Was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I think of you all often remembering the times we spent together while I was living down the the lower 48. From the navy hats given to Bob and I through the pleasure of Gene's being there when I was raised to a Master Mason and on to you guys being there at Mom's celebration of life. I have thought about you are other times and always with happy thoughts. Now I hope that you will take a few moments to remember those happy times also. I may be umpteen thousand miles away but in spirit I am there with out at this time. Thinking of you. Rich

Condolence: Carol and family, my sincere condolences on the loss of Gene. He was truly a great man and I enjoyed knowing him. I will always remember his kindness and friendship he had towards everyone. Also, I will always remember the fun we all had at the skating rink. He will be missed by many, but I can see him skating now in the most awesome place ever, with the biggest smile. Love to all and take care.

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn of Gene's passing. What a kind man. I have nothing but fond memories of him from my Rainbow days, and of course those days at the skating rink. I can picture him now rolling that big foam dice for one of the games at the rink. He was a great model of what a citizen of the human race should be. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I fondly remember my days in Rainbow - which Gene made even more special. He was always ready with a contagious smile or a joke. He made the world a brighter place. My prayers are with Debbie and the rest of the family. May God hold you all close until you are together again.
