I was just talking about Bill with my two daughters this past weekend. We were lunch buddies in Williamsburg and he was an occasional worshiper at the Presbyterian Church I served. I still think about him...even wrote a Glimpse of Grace on my blog site shortly after his death. I hope that you are blessed with many happy memories. Frosty
Bill was my jr/Sr high school History teacher in Baxter Iowa. He was a great storyteller. He inspired my love for history which continues to this day. Thankyou for being a part of my life and my memories. You will be missed.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Bill became part of our family when he was a teacher in Baxter. We were neighbors and spent many good times together. He holds special place in our heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I grew up with Bill and his brother, Marv. I played football, basketball, baseball and track with them and their little brother, Kenny. They were great athletes, great people and were raised by great parents. A part of my childhood is missing with the passing of Bill. Rest in peace, my friend.
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of "Bill Thompson". It was a pleasure to call him a friend and valued Superintendent for our school district the 12 years I was fortunate to serve as a Board member. He will truly be missed for his wisdom, friendship and leadership.
Rest in peace! Thank you for blessing us while our children were under your supervision as Ponca School Superintendent. Thompson family, thank you for sharing Bill with us!
