NICHOLAS VINSON JOHNSON-REED

Nicholas V. Johnson-Reed, 27, of Lewis, Iowa, was called to rest Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa.
Nicholas was born in Seattle, Washington, on September 15, 1986, the son of Precious Reed and Gracie Lee Johnson. He grew up in Seattle and attended school at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington.
He came to Lewis, Iowa about one year ago and has worked in manufacturing for the Plastic Professionals at Owner Revolution, Inc. in their Atlantic warehouse. Nick especially loved making music and singing, enjoyed cars and amusing friends with his jokes. He was a very loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to many and enjoyed getting together with them to play card games and dominos.
He is survived by his family: mother, Gracie Johnson of Tacoma, Washington; his grandmother, Ruthie Johnson of Mount Lake Terrace, Washington; grandfather, Elijah Johnson of Houston, Texas; grandfather, Jeffery Pollack; a brother, Nathaniel "Nate" House and his wife Kathryn, of Omaha, Nebraska, and their children, Kalvin, Kaydence, Kaitlyn and Kaisen House; an aunt, Novella (David) Fraser of Federal Way, Washington; niece, Clarissa Fraser and nephew, Keanan and a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins. Nick is also survived by his fiancée, Kimberlee Green of Lewis, Iowa.
Nicholas' funeral service will be held at the Roland Funeral Home on Saturday morning, October 5th at 10:30. Burdette (B.J. Roland of Atlantic will officiate. Open visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
