Rowenna Ratzlaff

Rowenna Ratzlaff, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa
Rowenna was born in Atlantic to John Ephraim and Bessie Obera (Woolsey) Barringer on May 18, 1933. She attended school in Atlantic and lived in the area her entire life. Rowenna enjoyed cooking for her family, especially chicken and noodles and fried chicken dinners. Her family will fondly remember her "saying what she wanted to say"!
She is survived by five sons, David (Judy) Ratzlaff, Larry Ratzlaff, John Ratzlaff, Tommy Ratzlaff and Bruce (Deb) Ratzlaff; two daughters, Linda (Barney) Eiesman and Tammy Pringnitz; one sister, Betty Mauk; two brothers, Jack (Emy) Barringer and Mick (Loretta) Barringer; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Rowenna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie; a daughter, Lou Ann Stevens; a son, Dale Allen Ratzlaff; her ex-husband, Richard Ratzlaff; brother-in-law, Roland "Runt" Mauk and nieces, Cathy Mauk and Mary Ellen McClusky.
