Loren "A. J." Adrian Odell

Loren "A. J." Adrian Odell, age 51, of Atlantic, Iowa passed away Saturday evening, July 14, 2012, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.
Loren Adrian Odell was born to Lowell A. and Bertha Jean Payne Odell, Jr. in Atlantic, Iowa on September 15, 1960. He attended school in Lewis and Griswold, Iowa. A. J. was employed by Henningsen Construction in Atlantic before becoming disabled. He especially liked hot rod cars, driving around town and working on cars. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies on television and spending time at the park. A. J.'s favorite time was spent with family and hanging out with his friends. He loved playing basketball with his daughter, Maria, in their driveway.
Surviving A. J. is his daughter, Maria Odell and fiancee, Justin Patton and granddaughter, Addison Patton, all of Atlantic; brother, Ray Odell from Missouri; sister, Valerie Coggins of Alpine, TX; niece, Amanda Cook and nephew, A. J. Cook, both living in Kentucky, along with several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Monica Odell Cook.
